A Place We Loved First

A Place We Loved First

Serenity House started as our family retreat — a place we came to slow down, unplug, and spend real time together.

The moment we found it, we knew it was special. Tucked away on five private acres, surrounded by open land and the quiet rhythm of Four Mile Creek, it felt like a place where life could move at a different pace.

What began as a getaway for our own family has become something we’re grateful to share with others.

Designed for Rest, Connection, and Space

We didn’t create Serenity House to feel like a rental — we designed it to feel like a place you actually want to be.

A place where:

  • Mornings start slowly with coffee on the deck
  • Kids explore the creek and the land
  • Evenings are spent playing games, listening to music, or simply sitting in the quiet

It’s not about checking boxes or packing your schedule — it’s about having the space to breathe and let the day unfold naturally.

What Makes It Different

There are a lot of places to stay in Colorado. This isn’t meant to be like most of them.

Serenity House is:

  • Private and intentionally quiet
  • Surrounded by nature, not neighborhoods
  • A place to disconnect — or reconnect, depending on what you need

With no cell service and miles of open land around you, it’s not for everyone — and that’s part of what makes it special.

If you’re looking for convenience and crowds, there are better options.

If you’re looking for something more meaningful, you’ll feel it the moment you arrive.

Hosted by Our Family

We’re a Colorado-based family who care deeply about creating a space that feels welcoming, thoughtful, and real.

We’ve tried to think through the details — from a well-stocked kitchen to games, music, and spaces to gather — because this is a place we use ourselves.

And while we’re not on-site, we’re always available if you need anything during your stay.

“We didn’t want to leave.”
Absolutely gorgeous, relaxing, and so much fun — everything we hoped for and more.
